My fiance and I had dance lessons with Sanushka, the owner of the studio. He was a wonderful teacher who taught us a lot, and took into account our capabilities when he choreographed our First Dance for our wedding. We had an amazing time learning our dance, and our lessons became a highlight of our week. Sanushka challenged us and helped us achieve a performance that we couldn't have imagined prior. Our friends and family were left gobsmacked, and my wife and I were so thrilled and proud of ourselves and what we achieved. It is still a talking point. We would highly recommend The Secret Garden of Dance.

We were a bit late in sending this review (serious procrastinators here), but we had to let everyone know how amazing our time was. The dance lessons were definitely one of the best highlights of our wedding prep. The dance turned out fantastic on the big day! The whole thing was a hit—we loved it, and so did our guests! Steph made us feel so comfortable, even though we were total beginners. We had such a blast learning with Steph, and we'll always remember the laughs and great banter. It felt more like hanging out with a friend than a teacher! Highly recommend Steph for anyone looking to learn or have fun with dance. Thank you for everything!

Love this dance studio, I went here for Tahitian dance class (which by the way is awesome and our instructor is lovely ?). Studio is tucked away near a carpark in Camberwell up some stairs it's not the most glamours studio but it's inviting and has character. The people were really inviting.

As a commercial style dancer growing up I have always felt like home in dance studio set up with mirros and space for correction of posture and to physically see what needs improving. The Secret Garden Of Dance is a traditional dance studio set up and the classes are also held this way, with the teachers focus on the style, culture and technique of the dance. There is the opportunity for a social dance environment throughout the class, however the emphasis is on improving your individual ability as a dancer in the style, which personally I love. Sanushka's passion for dance shines through and I love his analogies focussing on developing each student into their own creative expression as a dancer in the style chosen to learn.
