We took lessons in preparation for our wedding for both our First Dance and my Father-Daughter Dance. We cannot recommend this school highly enough!!! Sanushka is absolutely amazing, he is highly skilled teacher who is able to adapt his teaching to all levels of dance, who has excellent communication skills and his classes were truly enoyable. He offered excellent ideas and suggestions for choreography and music, helping us to work our what we did and didn't want. We had the best time at all of our lessons, and our dances were just incredible - everything we could have hoped for! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

I tried learning salsa on and off for years and made very little progress to be able to dance socially. Salsa music sound like noise, and whatever I learn in class don’t stick. Until I met Sanushka; he broke the art down to a science for my analytical brain. The rest is history, I’m now a salsa social dancing superstar; and the girls can’t get enough of me. Just kidding LOL. Still a beginner but with new found enthusiasm to improve.

Sanu is simply the best Salsa dance teacher. First of all, he is a warm person who makes his students feel very welcome. His encouragement and positivity also makes his students feel very motivated. I went to multiple dance studios and learned from different teachers in Melbourne, and every teacher was good in their own way. However, what I was missing was the foundation and structure, and Sanu turned out to be the perfect teacher for that. He combines science/logic thinking and art/dancing in such a beautiful way. Additionally, Sanu’s philosophy towards dancing and life is also something that I appreciated a lot. The studio itself is also very spacious and lovely. I look forward to learning more from Sanu.

We were quite nervous to perform a first dance at our wedding but Caroline and Sanushka taught us so much and we felt very connected to their philosophy and honesty with us. We learnt so much and loved going to our lessons as well as the group classes. Our guests continue to comment on how amazing our dance was and we feel so grateful to the secret garden of dance for taking the time and developing the perfect dance for us. Thank you so much! Looking forward to coming back for some more classes in the future.
